You tease me with your curling lyric
You flirt and I blush
As together we create
Heat, passion, tremendous opportunity
All wrapped into a game
A yoyo of cans and can'ts
Of grammar and punctuation
That are never spoken
Just whispered
Whispered so close to my ear
That I can feel your smooth lips
The brush of your breath
It reminds me
Of those dreams
Of those confessions
Of those failures
Of the fabricated possibilities
Of us clinging to each other
Warmth for once
Alive for once
Rhyming again
What a sad realization
Who owns who
You are dangerous
You are powerful
You own me
My words
My love
My mind
