Review of Prince of Never

Prince of Never is an enemy to lovers romance between a human girl, Lara, and a dark fae prince, Ever. This love story is of the fade-to-black variety, with lots of sexual tension and witty banter.

Lara is a waitress in our modern-day human world. Her tragic past turned her into a resilient and resourceful young woman. She keeps her memories of her mother close to her heart. Especially the stories her mother told her about fae and their lands. Lara did not know her mother was preparing her to one-day visit the lands she described. When that day came, her saviour would be a fae prince with a poor attitude.

Ever is a fae prince with a dark curse. He spends his days hunting monsters and hiding from his fate. When he finds an ugly creature unconscious on the forest floor, he feels he has run into one more inconvenience. At least until he hears her sing. Ever leads Lara to believe that he is a mere huntsman as they travel to his home, where he will present her to the queen. From there, this couple’s true adventure begins.

I read this book in one day, and I loved every minute. Juno Heart outdoes herself with this sweet tale. If you like young adult romance meets new adult romance, you will enjoy this book. If you appreciate a handsome fae prince, you will enjoy this book. And luckily, this world does not end with Ever and Lara. Heart has a whole series for you to delve into.
